The test rooms, demonstrators and test labs at many digital hubs are essential for digital transformation. Start-ups and companies can test new technologies, products or services on site under real conditions.

Berlin

The IoT Hub Berlin's Motionlab.Berlin offers plenty of space to test the implementation of ideas in practice and develop prototypes. The real-world lab offers start-up teams access to customizable maker garages and a machine park that enables 3D printing, laser cutting, woodworking and metalworking.

Dortmund

In the testbeds of the Logistics Hub Dortmund, small and medium-sized companies can use several research and application centers as well as demonstration halls. These offer state-of-the-art equipment and enable the testing and validation of innovations in areas such as IoT, cyber-physical systems and data ecosystems.

Dresden

5G technologies are considered an essential building block of digitalization. The 5G Testlab of the Smart Systems Hub Dresden therefore enables the transfer of knowledge and technology between science and industry in the field of 5G. Here, over 600 scientists work together with cooperation partners from industry on the implementation of new mobile communications standards.
