The hub focuses on two central dimensions: Firstly, the responsible design and development of AI technologies that meet ecological, social and safety-relevant criteria. Secondly, the use of these AI systems to promote an economic transformation towards greater sustainability, for example in the coal and steel industry by switching to green steel. The hub is intended to support the Saarland economy in digitalization and the development of sustainable business models by promoting innovative technologies and AI solutions.
