Hubs vs. Virus - digital solutions from our network

These projects aren’t just aiming to help the partners of the Hubs; they are working on solutions for current challenges in politics, society and the economy within the framework of programs, digital events and accelerators. Here’s an overview of our Hub’s activities:
 

Corona Chatbot

BOTfriends, a participating startup of our Pitch Night 2020 and part of the Digital Hub Nuremberg/Erlangen, has developed a chatbot for questions and answers about the coronavirus. The chatbot is for residents of the city of Würzburg, Schweinfurt, the Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Mainfranken region, and can be found on their websites.

'A Shift in Thinking'        

Our FinTech Hub Frankfurt is currently hosting a weekly event called 'A Shift in Thinking'. It’s an interactive webcast where the TechQuartier co-founders, Dr. Sebastian Schäfer & Dr. Thomas Funke, are discussing innovative ideas in times of crisis with the startup community.

#GesundZusammen                                 

Our FinTech Hub Berlin is joining WeFox, N26, Omio, BCGDV and other champions of the Berlin technology ecosystem for the initiative #GesundZusammen. Within the framework of an accelerator, they are looking for solutions surrounding the COVID-19 crisis and plan to promote them in order to bring these promising digital tools to the public faster.

'Fast Mover Support'                                                  

With this initiative, the Logistics Hub Hamburg challenged startups and innovators to develop innovative concepts to help support the logistics industry in times of COVID-19. On April 9th, the three winning startups, SonoBeacon, PRIOjet Logistics and Nüwiel were announced live on hubTV.

'Startups against Coronavirus'

The Digital Health Hub Nuremberg/Erlangen, the InsurTech Hub Munich and the Digital Chemistry & Health Hub Mannheim/Ludwigshafen are participating in the 'Startups against Coronavirus' platform, which connects startups and corporations to find solutions together. On the platform, companies can post about the challenges they are facing in the context of the corona crisis and startups can react by offering their digital solutions to the issues. Promising startup solutions will be featured on the platform with a short write-up and video.
