A network for digital Germany: The Hub Agency and Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) have been commissioned by the BMWK to operate the Digital Hub Initiative and network the twelve Hub locations with each other and with stakeholders in Germany and abroad.
The Hub Agency
Connect to innovate. The Hub Agency has been connecting SMEs and corporates with innovation partners from science and the start-up scene since 2017. The focus here is on the supra-regional integration of the Digital Hubs.
The Digital Hub Initiative aims to bring start-ups, business and science together. To this end, it offers various formats to strengthen sustainable exchange and collaboration. The Hub Agency supports companies that are helping to shape Germany as a location for innovation and drive digitalization forward. As a one-stop store, the Hub Agency provides access to the Digital Hubs. The Hub Agency is not only responsible for developing innovative services for the initiative. It also networks the Hub locations with each other and with new players from all over Germany. The Hub Agency also manages the initiative's public presence - from the website and social media channels to trade fairs and events.
Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI)
The network is growing beyond borders. The GTAI connects the Digital Hub Initiative beyond Germany's borders with players abroad. It promotes exchange between the twelve Digital Hubs partners at European and international level.
GTAI is the federal government's business development agency, which promotes the establishment of investments in Germany as a business location. As part of the Digital Hub Initiative, GTAI supports the digital hubs in networking in international markets. It ensures that the Digital Hub Initiative is attractive for foreign start-ups and investors. GTAI promotes the visibility and networking of all those involved in the Digital Hub Initiative abroad, e.g. through delegation trips to the world's leading technology conferences. GTAI and the Hub Agency work closely together at important interfaces. As a result, many joint projects have already been successfully implemented together.
